Life 365 Selected as Finalist for Phoenix’s Smart City Hack!

One of Bioaccel’s med-tech partners, Life 365, placed as a finalist for Phoenix’s Smart City Hack! The Phoenix Smart City Hack challenges entrepreneurs to use their tech ideas to solve problems facing modern urban life in Phoenix. Through their digital health as a service platform, they created a service which allows patients at home to connect to the hospital via cellular hub or tablet. The LifeConnect tablet can connect to 300 different medical devices to take and analyze patient health data, such as blood pressure and glucose levels. The device can then wirelessly transmit the data to the health care provider. This allows health care providers or family members to proactively and remotely monitor patients, which allows pateints to live a more independent lifestyle.  The LifeConnect can also ask behavioral survey questions and stream video chats between the patient and the health care provider. This tablet allows patients, like veterans and seniors, to go through the necessary checkup routine without leaving the comfort of their own home. Life365 is the perfect example of a company devoted to not only changing the norms of health care but to also serving the community.
